All of the members of the Auburn Washington Fire Department will be attending a memorial for a retired fire captain from our department on August 16, 2000. We will add our prayers and thoughts for Chief Renfroe, his family, his friends and his fellow firefighters.

James Renfroe, you were more than just a fellow firefighter, you were a close friend. I know that I will see you some day again but you will be missed. Keep safe watch over us when we must respond. Now you will never miss another call for you will be there with us, on every single one.

Chief Renfroe was a wonderful person and will be missed by all. He was very devoted to the fire department and the people envolved with it. He will be missed by many. I know that God will help us in this time of loss and make us to bond together and support one another. I love you guys and dont know what id do with out you in my life. Thanks for the hugs when I needed them :)

Rest eternal grant to James, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon him. Amen
